-Controls-
Pros:
* Easy controls to use. You use the circle pad to move around, the DPad to switch items, and A to use the item.
* Since "Animal Crossing" is aiming for a children age group the controls are simple and easy for them to use.
Cons: (None)
Controls Score: 10/10
-Music-
Pros:
* Since Animal Crossing is follows real time, there is hourly music for both night and day AND music inside shops/houses.
* Good sound effects such as; running, tripping, using a slingshot, e.t.c.
Cons: (None)
Music Score: 10/10
-Graphics-
Pros:
* Pretty good colorful graphics. Lots of good graphics for players, furnitures, e.t.c.
* Pretty good framerates(Around 60 FPS)
Cons:
* Of course, I can kind of see the pixels on the player when standing still in the game. I would probably want to see more rounded sides to improve the player's look.
Graphics Score: 7/10
-Gameplay-
Pros:
* Tons of wonderful gameplay experiences such as; going to the island, making public work projects, customizing your own furniture or clothes, breeding flowers, and much more.
* One thing I like about the AC franchise is running errands for your villagers and getting to pay off your home debt to expand it. It really adds a real-life connection to the game.
Cons:
* After you have done lots of stuff in your town it's kind of hard to find something new to do which is why I find it hard to play after completing many things.
Gameplay Score: 8/10
-Content-
Pros:
* Many things to do in Animal Crossing: New Leaf which keeps things going for MANY hours which honestly, kept me occupied for a long time.
* There is monthly DLC which gives you pretty cool stuff to keep the game going. Sometimes there will be a distributing of DLC at Best Buy.
Cons: (None)
Content Score: 10/10
-Multiplayer-
Pros:
* Animal Crossing: New Leaf offers local and online multiplayer for up to 4 players in 1 town which is a very fun way to play together with your friends.
* You can play online with random people(regional or worldwide) on the island which is a very fun option.
Cons:
* You can only play online multiplayer in someones town if you are their friend.
Multiplayer Score: 8/10
-Overall-
Overall, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a game that I would definitely recommend for gamers who enjoy games in which you get to explore many places and play with others.
